Porsche Icons & The Porsche Book....is mania!!!

The news is just a few days old: the 1970 slate-grey
Porsche 911 S driven by Steve
McQueen - alias Michael Delaney - in the famous film,
“Le Mans”, is to be auctioned by RM Auctions at the
Monterey Sports Car Championship next August. While awaiting
the event and trying to place the winning bid for this
legendary car (but probably few, very few people will be able
to attend the auction), one can try to get hold of one
of the highly sought-after copies of the limited collector’s
edition of two volumes just published by teNeues,
“Porsche Icons” and “The Porsche Book”. Their price?
Euro 1700 for the former and Euro
2000 for the latter.
